|NEWS||18th Mar 2017|
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
On Sunday the 9 April 2017, Karen Catto will be joining thousands of other runners who are taking part in this year's Brighton Marathon.
Like many other participants who are raising funds for charity, Karen will be running in support of Run 4 Cancer!
Thank you Karen for your continued support. It is noted and very much appreciated!
"On the 9th April I will be running the Brighton marathon (EEEK!). I will be running once again for Run 4 Cancer - a charity set up by runners who have lost friends or family to cancer, they provide days out and short breaks for families affected by cancer.
I am dedicating this run to the memory of Pearl Maskell, who will be the angel on my shoulder and my inspiration to keep going when things get tough.
Please click on the link if you would like to donate - any amount is appreciated and will make a huge difference, thank you!"
