Derby Half Marathon: 3 June 2018

Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.

We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

Derby Half Marathon 2018

The new Derby Half Marathon will be in its 5th year this year. This exciting half-marathon returned to the city in 2014.

A great new challenge for runners old and new, the event, formerly known as the Ramathon, boasts a great city centre course and a truly incredible atmosphere.

The Route

The new Derby Half Marathon starts and finishes at Pride Park - the home of Derby County FC.

The route takes participants straight into the vibrant city centre, through the historic Market Place and past the beautiful cathedral, dating from the 16th century, before heading back down London Road.

It’s then on to the stunning Elvaston Castle County Park, before returning for the grand finale at Pride Park.
