New Forest Marathon & Half Marathon: 9 Sept 2018

Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.

We also make grants to UK based care institutions and fund research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

New Forest Marathon &
New Forest Half Marathon

The New Forest Marathon and Half Marathon are two of the most popular running events in the UK - mainly because of the beautiful scenery found in this former Royal Forest.

The New Forest Marathon and Half Marathon are also unique... where else can you share a running trail with wild ponies!

This is a very popular marathon and places sell out very quickly!

Most of this undulating race follows roads with 3 miles being off-road along well-maintained forest track.

The New Forest Marathon is a popular race that inspires a lot of interest. Having been cancelled in 2014, the race has made a welcome return under new management.

The race starts and finishes at New Park Farm, Brockenhurst. Runners follow a multi-terrain route taking them through the New Forest, including much stunning scenery along the way.

The finish line is outside The Old Barn Inn. Most runners pop inside after recovering for a celebratory beer!
