Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer.

We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.

Spartan Sprint - South East

Date

  • Sunday 8 April 2018

The 2018 Spartan season kicks off in April at St Clere, South East London. Steeped in history, St Clere was once owned by the father of Henry VIII’s second wife Anne Boleyn and has hosted visits from the likes of Mozart and Jane Austen. The site is only 40 minutes by train from central London and within sight of the M25, so it promises to please weekend warriors, trail hunters and obstacle racers alike.

The Spartan Sprint is one of the shortest distances, so it is perfect for athletes of all levels; from Spartan first timers to seasoned racers. The 5-6 Km Sprint may be short in distance, but it packs more than 20 Signature Spartan Obstacles. If you think you can’t do it, you’re wrong. Get to the starting line and show yourself what you are capable of.
