Ben’s BIG4 Running Challenges

05 September 2018

On Sunday the 9 September 2018, Ben Stephenson will join many other Run 4 Cancer supporters by taking part in the New Forest 10K. Run 4 Cancer has a long associated with the New Forest Marathon and it’s one of our favourite events on the UK calendar.

After tackling the New Forest 10K run, Ben will move on to tackle the Great South Run on Sunday the 21st of October, followed by the ‘Derwentwater 10’ mile race on Sunday the 4th of November. AND if that isn’t enough Ben will then travel to Bangkok in Thailand to take part in the Bangkok Half Marathon on Sunday the 18th of November! Ben is doing all this to raise funds for Run 4 Cancer and we cannot thank him enough.

Commenting on his BIG4 Challenges Ben said:

This is going to be quite a challenge. The move up from 10 Km or 6.2 miles to a Half Marathon at 13.1 miles is going to quite a jump but it’s for a great cause. Run 4 Cancer do some amazing work and I’m delighted to be a in position to help them. Many thanks everyone for your support.”

Run 4 Cancer – About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
