Barcelona Marathon 2027
For all of you looking for a marathon than enjoys the best of spring weather, this is one is for you. Starting in the heart of the city, be prepared for a race that is almost like a tour, as you take in the city highlights and sample the views from the beaches too.

The Route
A brand new route for 2026 saw runners experience what the organisers describe as a “faster, more central, monumental and lively route”. Starting adjacent to the Jardins de Montserrat Minobis, the route weaves its way along long straight sections, ideal for accumulating the miles, before sending you around the coastline and eventually, heading to the finish, which is now located at dramatic Arc de Triomf. 2027 provides the next chapter in this amazing race.

We have a number of free and subsidised places available. All we ask is that you try to raise some sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer. We set very low minimum sponsorship funds and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
