The Bath Half Marathon Date

The Route
The half marathon starts on Royal Avenue (in front of the Royal Crescent) proceeding out of Royal Victoria Park down Marlborough Lane and right onto the Upper Bristol Road. The course follows 2-laps westbound along Upper Bristol Road and Newbridge Road to the Twerton Fork, returning eastbound along the Lower Bristol Road to Churchill Bridge, and up Green Park Road to Queen Square.
On the first lap, the first time you reach Churchill Bridge, you continue along Rossiter Road, up Pulteney Road and into Great Pulteney Street before returning on the same route back to Churchill Bridge.
The first and second lap runners are separated by cones along the centre of the road. First lap runners keep to the right, and second lap runners keep to the left. On your first lap take care for vehicles escorting the lead runners overtaking at speed in the left carriageway
Runners will need to cross carriageways twice in the race – at the crossover point on Charles Street, just after Green Park station. First lap runners cross from right to left, before the left turn onto Monmouth Place at the beginning of the second lap. At the end of the second lap runners cross from left to right before going straight on to Queen Square towards the finish.

We have a number of £20.00 subsidised places available. All we ask is that you try to raise a minimum of £350.00 in sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
