Battersea Park Half Marathon Presented by TREK 2026

The Battersea Park Half Marathon has quickly become one of London’s most popular running events due to its super flat course and its picturesque setting in Battersea Park, one of London’s most beautiful open spaces. Sponsored by TREK this incredible event has been dubbed “The World’s Flattest Run” and has become a firm favourite with runners from across the world who are eager to set a new personal best (PB).

Opened in 1858, Battersea Park is a 200-acre green space situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea. The park is home to a small children’s zoo, a boating lake, a bandstand, various playgrounds and a number themed gardens designed by a number of famous landscape architects from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Route

The course utilises Battersea Park’s smooth wide paths to keep you ‘on track’ from start to finish. The course is also great for spectators who can cheer you along whilst accessing the park’s many attractions. With a seperate 1Km Kids Race, around the park’s very own athletics track, this truly is an event for all the family!

We have a number of subsidised places available. All we ask is that you try to raise some sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer. We set very low minimum sponsorship funds and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
