Birmingham Half Marathon 2023
Whether you’re a new runner or you’ve got hundreds of miles under your belt, this fantastic half marathon route through England’s second city will be filled with musical entertainment, charity cheer buses and thousands of cheering spectators! Described as the “biggest and best running event in the Midlands”, Birmingham comes alive on Great Run weekend. With a fantastic atmosphere this is an event like no other!

The Route
This flat and fast route through the centre of Birmingham takes in the best of the Marathon course from the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Incorporating all the main landmarks of the city centre plus all the best green spaces that surround the city, the course will be lined with thousands of cheering spectators. You’ll find live music zones dotted along the route and a party atmosphere from start to finish!

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
