Goodwood Motor Circuit Marathon 2026

The Goodwood Motor Circuit is a world famous motor racing circuit which encircles a famous Battle Of Britain airfield. Formerly known as RAF Westhampnett, Goodwood Aerodrome was a vital World War II airfield that was active from 1940 to 1946.

After WW2, the airfield’s perimeter road was turned into the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The 2.367 mile (3.809 km) circuit has hosted many legendary motor races including non-championship Formula 1 races.

For runners and motorsport enthusiasts alike, this is a unique experience to run around one of the world’s most famous motor circuits, located in a beautiful countryside setting in the middle of the South Downs National Park.

The Route(s)

With a wide range of distances available, the whole family can find a distance that is right for them. Choose from a range of distances which include a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Metric Marathon, Full Marathon or 50K Ultra. Formerly known as the Running Grand Prix, whatever distance you choose, Run 4 Cancer has places for every event!

Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
