Hertfordshire Half Marathon 2026
Run 4 Cancer in this year’s Hertfordshire Half Marathon and 10K! This incredibly popular running event takes place in the stunning village of Old Knebworth and the grounds of Knebworth House. This exciting event offers runners of all abilities a memorable race experience thanks to its scenic route through the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside.
Whether you’re tackling the Half Marathon or the 10K, you’ll enjoy a fantastic race-day atmosphere, excellent support from marshals and clear route markings. It’s the perfect autumn challenge for seasoned runners aiming for a new PB or first timers stepping out for the first time. All runners, irrespective of distance receive a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results and a series of post race goodies!

The Route(s)
The Half Marathon course (21.1 Km) winds through a series of tarmacked roads and paths with gentle undulating profiles. The total evelation for the course is 218 metres. The 10K course utilises many of the same paths but with a small evelation of 91 metres.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
