Run 4 Cancer in this year's Manchester Half Marathon and help British families living with cancer. We have a range of free and subsidised charity places available. Manchester Half Marathon 2023
Launched in 2016 and with a route that now takes in the heart of Manchester City Centre, this really is an event that is going from strength to strength. Rave reviews year after year, have meant runners have come back again and again, and this is one certainly that is highly recommended.

The Route
Starting in the shadow of the famous Old Trafford Football Ground, runners head straight into the City Centre before heading back out towards Stretford and Sale where they’ll turn on this flat course and head back to the “other” Old Trafford, the home of Lancashire C.C.C.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
