This is day 2 of the incredible Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri Weekend and time for the marathon.
Ascending 1,685 metres over 27 miles of iconic and spectacular trails, the epic Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri circumnavigates and eventually climb the slopes of Wales’ highest peak – Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The incredible route explores the trails, gorgeous panoramic views and tough climbs that make Eryri National Park such a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Route
Probably the biggest trail marathon in the UK, the Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri is a challenge in every sense of the word. Ascending 1,685 metres over 27 miles of iconic and spectacular trails, this epic race will circumnavigate and eventually climb Wales’ highest peak – Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Visiting Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and Yr Wyddfa (via the PyG Track to the Finger Stone) to then descend to the finish line via the Llanberis Path. There surely can’t be a more striking trail marathon route in the UK!

We have a very limited number of subsidised places available. All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £350.00 in sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer. We set very low minimum sponsorship levels and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
