Run 4 Cancer in this year's Unleashed Performance Reading Half Marathon and help British families living with cancer. We have a range of free and subsidised charity places available. Unleashed Performance Reading Half Marathon 2023
The Unleashed Performance Reading Half Marathon is a hugely popular event in the running calendar. The course takes in much of the town where you’ll find huge support every step of the way, before entering a crescendo of noise for a stadium finish at the home of Reading F.C.

The Route
Starting in Green Park, the route wends its way around the park before heading towards the town where a loud welcome is guaranteed. The route also takes in the University of Reading, passes Prospect Park before making its way towards Colney Recreation Ground and the A33 where the stadium is tantalisingly close in the distance. It’s all worth it though for the roar as you enter the stadium with the finish line in sight.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
