Santa Run London 2026

Run 4 Cancer in this year’s Santa Run and help British families living with cancer. This year’s Santa Run is the largest event of its kind in the UK. Over 3,000 Santas are expected to take part! A free five piece Santa suit is included (trousers, belt, tunic, beard and hat) in the race entry fee.

The event is perfect for families and is open to all runners from the age of three upwards (under 18’s can enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult). The course is also suitable for children’s pushchairs and wheelchair users.

The Route

The 5Km Santa Run begins in Paternoster Square in Central London. You will run past St Paul’s Cathedral and across Blackfriars Bridge (where you will enjoy world-famous views of Tower Bridge, The Shard and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. You will then go over Southwark Bridge and join the Thames Path, where you will head towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge via some of London’s most unknown hidden paths. You will then return through the City, back over Southwark Bridge to the lively Bankside area, on the south side of the River Thames. After another 500m, you will cross the Millennium Bridge (by the Tate Modern Gallery) before once again taking in views of St Paul’s Cathedral as you head towards the finish line in Paternoster Square.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
