Santa Run 2025 (Portsmouth)

This year’s Portsmouth Santa Run is set to be the biggest yet! Join hundreds of other Santas (young and old) and help British families living with cancer at the same time. A free Santa suit is included in the race entry fee and you can choose from either the 5 Km or 10 Km routes.

The event is perfect for families! Promising an incredible atmosphere and loads of fun for all the family, runners are rewarded with a finishers’ medal and mince pies. There are also special presents for children who take part.

Children aged 9 and under can take part for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult. Older children (aged 10 and above) can run with a paying adult, but they will have to pay an entry fee.

The Route

Starting just behind the Pyramids Centre in Southsea at 10am, both the 5Km and 10Km routes will take runners along Southsea’s beautiful Clarence Esplanade and will allow people to take in the sights of the Solent and many of Portsmouth’s finest attractions.

We set very low minimum sponsorship funds and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people. Run 4 Cancer - About Us

Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
