Three Peaks Challenge 2023
WALK IT or RUN IT!
Run 4 Cancer is pleased to announce its own Three Peaks Challenge! As its name suggests, the challenge is to climb the highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales, one after the other, within 24 hours! The Three Peaks Challenge remains one of the hardest charity challenges in the UK. This is an amazing event – either as a personal challenge or as a corporate team building event!
Date(s)
- 14 October 2023
(We have several dates available)
The Route
Starting on Saturday morning in Scotland, you will tackle the UK’s highest peak first – the mighty Ben Nevis at 1344m. Once down from the summit, your driver will take you on the overnight journey across the border to the Lake District. To add to the challenge you will start climbing England’s highest peak (Scafell Pike – 978m) in the dark – head torches will be required. The target is to reach the summit by sunrise – an amazing sight not to be missed! Next stop Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales at 1085m.

Apply For Your Free Place
We have a number of free and subsidised places available. All we ask is that you try to raise some sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer. We set very low minimum sponsorship funds and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people. To reserve your Run 4 Cancer place, get in touch with us using the form below. Many thanks for your support! We really appreciate it.
Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery. Find out more about us here.
