Women’s Run Series Battersea Park 5km 2026
Event overview: Be part of something unique. The Women’s Run Series Battersea Park features the only women’s only road Half Marathon in the UK, alongside 10km and 5km distances, creating a powerful, supportive race day designed entirely for women. Set in one of London’s most picturesque parks, this flat road event is ideal for a first ever race, or a confident personal best attempt. Expect an encouraging atmosphere from start to finish, with clear signage, enthusiastic marshals, and a strong sense of community throughout.
The event takes place at Battersea Park, with the event village based in the Bowling Green Pavilion. This creates a welcoming and well-organised hub for runners, supporters, and race-day essentials.
Please note that while this is a women’s only race, Battersea Park remains open to the public. The event village at the Bowling Green Pavilion will provide a safe, supportive, and clearly managed base for all participants.

We have a number of subsidised places available. All we ask is that you raise £150.00 in sponsorship funds in support of Run 4 Cancer. We set very low minimum sponsorship funds and fully understand that the cost of living crisis is impacting people’s ability to sponsor people.

Run 4 Cancer - About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We give families something to look forward to during the most difficult of times. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
