Fred’s Montréal Half Marathon
01 September 2017
On Sunday 24 September 2017, Frederic Laloux will be joining many others taking part in the Montréal Half Marathon. This is the first time Run 4 Cancer has had a runner in a Canadian running event in support of the charity and we are extremely excited about. Thank you Fred!
Commenting on the challenge Fred said:
“Hi everyone. I feel I am a very lucky man as my employer is going to send me back to Canada again soon for a few days. It just happens that my plane lands a few hours before the start of the Montréal Half Marathon. And guess what? Yeah let’s do it and show what an old bugger like me can do if I don’t party too hard the night before!
Those who know me also know that I am a keen sailor. I recently came across this amazing charity that provides comfort to people affected by cancer and their family by taking them to sea for a day or a week. What I good idea!!
Would you guys sponsor me and help patients and family enjoy the pleasure of sailing during these difficult times??
Thank you so much to you all.”

Run 4 Cancer – About Us
Set up by a team of running enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Run 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short-breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise (e.g. running) and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
