I have been given your name by Jane Buchanan at Piam Brown Ward, Southampton General Hospital, so that I can personally thank you for the most fantastic day out that my son Robert and I had with Seb and Ian.
My son Robert was diagnosed with Leukaemia two years ago, and it has often been quite difficult for us to enjoy life as we had expected. We were therefore thrilled when Jane asked us if we would like to sail from Hamble over to Cowes with other patients from the ward.
It really was one of the very best days out, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Seb and his father were so very welcoming and quickly put us at our ease. We enjoyed many aspects of sailing that they were kind enough to show us, and we certainly enjoyed the excellent food!
I wonder if you would be kind enough to forward our very heartfelt thanks to Seb and Ian, these sort of days out make all the difference!
